Privacy Policy for Karya Cyber

PintasAja ("We," "Our," or "Us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Karya Cyber mobile application (the "App" or "Service") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
  • Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
  • Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Karya Cyber.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to PintasAja.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data When you create a profile, we may collect basic information such as your chosen display name (e.g., "Wisatawan"). As an educational and cultural preservation app, we do not require sensitive personal information or financial data.

Application Data We collect your exploration history, scanned QR/AR markers (stamps), earned points, and custom UI preferences (such as theme settings) to provide a personalized experience and cloud synchronization across your devices (if logged in).

Usage Data and Automatically Collected Data Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. We may securely collect device information, operating system version, and anonymous crash reports to improve app stability and performance.

Information Collected while Using the Application While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission:

  • Camera Access: The App requires access to your device's camera exclusively for scanning physical QR codes and AR markers to unlock digital stamps and encyclopedia content. Images from the camera are processed locally and are never uploaded or stored on our servers.
  • Location Data (Optional): The App may request location access to enhance your Virtual Map experience within the Kraton/Kampung Cyber area. Location data is processed locally on your device to show your position relative to cultural points of interest.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service: To track your educational progress, stamp collections, and gamification points locally and/or via cloud synchronization.
  • To enable core features: To enable the core AR/QR scanning features necessary for unlocking cultural content.
  • To improve the Service: To monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot app crashes for improving application stability.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. By default, data is stored as long as the account is active and for a maximum of 24 months after account closure according to PintasAja standards.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.

In-App Deletion

Since most of your data (collections, points, history) can be stored locally, clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app will remove your local progress. If you have created a synchronized cloud account, you can permanently delete it directly from within the application:

  1. Open Karya Cyber.
  2. Navigate to Profil Saya (Profile) > Pengaturan (Settings) > Bantuan & Dukungan.
  3. Select Hapus Akun & Data (Delete Account & Data).
  4. Confirm the prompt.

Note: This action is irreversible. All your scanned stamps, points, and history will be permanently wiped from our servers.

Web/Email Deletion

You can also request data deletion externally by contacting our support team:

  • Email: pintasaja.id@gmail.com
  • Subject: Account Deletion Request - Karya Cyber
  • Body: Please explicitly state your request and include the identifier/email associated with your account. We will permanently delete your data within 7 business days.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

We utilize trusted third-party infrastructure to support the App's functionalities:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase (for optional data syncing and crash reporting)
  • Google Maps (for the Virtual Maps feature)

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of your data is highly important to us.

  • Encryption in Transit: All communication between the Karya Cyber app and our backend servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security).
  • Local Sandbox Security: Data cached locally on your device (such as your collection history using Hive) is stored securely within the operating system's application sandbox, inaccessible to other apps.
  • Camera Privacy: Scanning processes are entirely client-side. We do not transmit your camera feed over the network.

While We strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
